Our company philosophy - People are our most important asset - their safety and well being are our greatest concern. Our safety program has the full attention of every employee. New employees are required to complete safety orientation, reviewing our written safety manual from cover to cover. We maintain an active pre-employment, post accident and random drug testing program. Employee safety training is documented for all equipment including specialty tools right up to aerial lifts and excavators. The written Safety program is review and updated annually. Each employee in a supervisory role has a copy in their company vehicle. The Pitt Electric fleet consists of 50 vehicles including fully equipped vans, ladder van, auger truck, flatbed, and service truck. Units are equipped with GPS tracking and driver alert information. All project superintendents conduct at least weekly safety meetings, and site safety inspections. All jobsites are OSHA compliant.

Pitt Electric, Inc. has a formal safety program with an administrator, whose job description includes checking tools and equipment for safe operation, visiting jobsites for safety evaluations and staying current with OSHA regulations.
